Class Description

It will help you make empower as teachers in the use of modern technology, mainly computers and adaptive devices in aiming disabled studentsユ learning and independent life. You will learn about ways of use of computerand peripherals to assist students' learning in order to meet their unique eudcational needs. Reminder If you do not already have a computer, I strongly suggest that you get one or make arranagements to use a university computer as soon as possible for hands-on experiences and writing papers. Also, everyone should have regular access to a computer with a modem and the Internet so that you can do research and we can communicate via email: free internet accounts are available through Information Processing Center at HUTE. Please take advantage of them if you don't already have an account through another service provider. Many class handouts and all assignments are available via Japanese syllabus on the World Wide Web. Attendance Attendance is expected at all classes scheduled. Attendance is not only vital for the professional development and education of preservice teachers, but also models the kind of teacher behavior we expect them to have. This policy is critical in the licensing and certification of professionals. You are permitted a maximum of two(2) absences from this class. Each absence beyond that will result in the deduction of a letter grade.
