信学技報 TECHNICAL REPROT OF IEICE ET92-100, 1993 映像と音声活用による学習者主導の手話教材の開発とその展望 Learner-Centered Sign Language Program Using Digital Technology and Multimedia 松尾安雄    加藤多恵子   塩谷 朗    成田 滋 Yasuo Matsuo Taeko Katoh Akira Shioya Shigeru Narita 今日の多くの手話学習法は、印刷媒体上のイラストやビデオなどを使ったものが中心 であるが、手話呈示の際の上半身の動きが明瞭でないという問題が指摘されている。 本研究では、デジタル化された映像や音声が教材開発にどのような影響を及ぼしつつ あるかを手話の学習教材の開発過程から考察した。映像や音声の同期やアクセス、取 り込みや編集の容易さなどデジタル化情報の長所は、さまざまなマルチメディア志向 の教材開発に活用できる展望を有する。 Many types of sign language learning programs for the deaf are available which heavily rely on using print text, still images, video tapes, and oral representation. Thanks to recent innovative digital technology dealing with video images and sounds, learners can explore enormous amounts of visual information of sign language and become proactive visual learners. Its implications for other courseware development are discussed .
